What is Mimo?

Mimo, founded in early 2023, stands for Money-in and Money-out. Our mission is to be the ultimate tool for global payments, cash flow management, and financing, empowering small to medium-sized businesses to save time and money while maintaining financial control. Since our inception, we've launched our product, grown to over 15 team members, and secured funding from leading angels and top institutional investors. And we're just getting started.

Your Role in Solving Problems Across Mimo

As an Operations Associate, you'll learn the fundamentals across the company. You will be expected to:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of our product and platform.

  • Manage customer support tickets effectively.

  • Learn the intricacies of customer onboarding.

  • Navigate the complexities of a regulated business and financial crime risks.

  • Collaborate with our credit, product, engineering, and commercial teams to support Mimo’s sustainable growth.

Be the Go-To Problem Solver: Assist customers and colleagues through various channels—email, chat, slack—ensuring their issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Onboarding Champion: Help new customers start on the right foot by ensuring a smooth, compliant, and welcoming onboarding experience.

Process Improver: Collaborate with the team to enhance our internal tools and processes, improving our support and admin systems.

Knowledge Guru: Maintain and update our knowledge base, empowering customers to find answers independently and be a source of truth within the company. 

Your Path

In this role, you'll gain a deep understanding of Mimo’s product, platform, organisation, risk controls, and commercial strategy. Starting as a generalist, you'll be able to grow and specialise in areas that match your skills and interests. This role covers customer support, compliance, client onboarding, financial crime, and payments. Welcome to life in a startup fintech—hard work but a lot of fun!

Minimum Requirements
  • A postgraduate degree is preferable, though an impressive undergraduate record can strengthen your application.

  • Be fluent in both English and Swedish. While we are based in Sweden and are a Swedish company, we use English internally and with our customers.

  • Share something you are passionate about or proud of that you've invested your time in.

  • You have experience using Excel, SQL, G Suite and any other tools you would expect a tech company to use.

  • Have relevant work experience (you have done an internship somewhere, where you learned stuff that can be applied to Mimo stuff).
