Across our founding team, we’ve spent the last 10+ years in SMB fintech, SaaS and commerce. While fintech has advanced quickly, we are amazed that small business owners still struggle with the basics in financial management.

Managing money in, money out and the resulting cash flow is complex. The process is fragmented across banks, accounting platforms, FX tools, accountants, lenders, and more. At best, this complexity is an annoyance. At worst, it kills your company.

With Mimo, we set out to go back to first principles on how running a small business should work. Through our journey speaking to business owners, a key insight emerged. The major challenge in B2B payments today is not about HOW money is being moved. It’s about IF and WHEN it will move, and the cash flow implications this has for your business.

With Mimo, we’re using technology to help business owners manage these complexities. We offer a beautiful, easy-to-use tool to understand, control and automate payments and cash flow.

This means paying invoices with a click, on terms that suit your business. It means easily requesting payment from customers, without worrying about if and when money will land.

It means saving time & money, and running your business on your terms. With the current economic climate, this is more important than ever.

The Opportunity

Small businesses are the back-bone of the economy. But unlike what card networks have solved in consumer-to-business trade, SMBs are expected to take on all the risk and admin of trading themselves. This yields wasted productivity, stress and business closures.

We are building the infrastructure providing the cheapest and most convenient way for SMBs to trade, with zero risk and full cash flow control.

The Team

We have big ambitions, and I couldn’t be more proud of the team that is gathering to make it happen. My two co-founders @Alex & @Andreas and I go way back, starting at iZettle more than a decade ago. We are humbled & pumped to have been joined by great talent like @Jona, @Joakim, @Pedram and @Gustav.
