How did you get started?

Tom Allerton, founder of Bitesize Consulting, began his career as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte, gaining significant accounting experience before eventually entering the hospitality sector. Here, he successfully established, ran, and eventually sold his own bar and restaurant businesses. These ventures provided him with firsthand experience in both finance and business operations, setting the stage for his next move.


Identifying a gap in the market for specialized financial services tailored to the hospitality, F&B, consumer goods, and events industries, Tom founded Bitesize Consulting. The company aims to offer financial expertise and act as an outsourced finance team for its clients, focusing on building strong, practical partnerships rather than just providing traditional accounting services.


Since 2018, Tom has focused on growing Bitesize Consulting through a careful selection of clients and by assembling a team of finance professionals with specific industry knowledge. This approach has helped the firm establish itself as a reliable partner in its niche, prioritizing quality and practical financial solutions for its clients.
